A fine male lapwing in the fields with curlews and oystercatchers this morning was a bonus for the patch year list (69).

Two stock doves flew over Long Strand mid-morning, and were gratefully received for the year (68). Nowt else doing though.

hammer time comes early!

A yellowhammer over Long Strand this morning was a good one for the patch year list (67), but otherwise it was very quiet.

not much doing

A quiet spell on de patch, with not much happening. Did have the lesser yellowlegs at Rosscarbery this afternoon, which was nice.
